For body I tend to slather on Clarin’s Sun Care Milk-Lotion Spray in SPF 20 on whatever limbs are being aired a good choice for a light dose of UK sun that halts the morning after the day before ‘lobster look’ when you didn’t realise it was that hot and you’ve got some funky strap marks going on. It does what it says on the tin, feels light and tack-free and the slight tint it’s got serves perfectly well as a weekend complexion evener.

The one-person-standing capacity balcony doesn’t allow for any sun worshipping, just a spot for one pot plant and space to hang my weekly flannel wash out to dry. I love my humble abode, but the one thing it lacks is outdoor space.
